…ABSTRACT COMICS! This is a result of experimenting in the IPRC Comics Program tonight:
Abstract comics are funny. They take a lot of getting used to. They aren’t your stereotypical comic, but they can be kind of fun to look at. Or just really confusing. *shrugs*
If you like or are curious about abstract comics, here are some sites you should check out:
Currently, besides this, I’ve been working on my final project for the comics program (my ideas about it are still quite vague) What I do know is that it’s going to be really different from my previous work and I’m excited about it. For now, I’m keeping it a secret. As the comic progresses, there will be sneak previews.
Oh, and if you haven’t noticed or checked it out already, I’ve got new sections on my blog: my sketchbook and my zine section. I’ll be uploading my favorite sketches as much as I can, and I’ve thrown on some digitally colored images for you to enjoy too. In my zine section, I still have copies of Pedagogy as Dissent, and slim pickings of I’d Rather Be Here (which feels oh so old and far away now, even though it’s only been two years). You can order them here or contact me directly.
Until next time,
